This morning, the official handover took place between the outgoing minister, and Mr. Mohamed Ali TOUMI, new Tunisian Minister of Tourism and Handicrafts.
Mr. Mohamed Ali TOUMI headed several travel agencies and created his own agency in 2005.
Active for over twenty years in the tourism sector, he was elected President of the Tunisian Federation of Travel Agencies (FTAV) from 2011 to 2018.
Born on February 19, 1974 in Kerkennah (Sfax), Mr. TOUMI holds a master’s degree in accounting management from the Higher Institute of Accounting and Business Administration (ISCAE).
